Yesterday, Tuesday 13 October, the Faculty of Theology Saint Isidore of Seville hosted a meeting between its Dean, Mr Manuel Palma Ramírez, and the directors of its affiliated centres, as part of the coordination meetings that are usually held at the start of each academic year.

The meeting was attended by Mr Cristóbal Robledo Rodríguez, director of the San Leandro Theological Institute in Huelva; Mr Roberto Rubio Domínguez, director of the San Pedro de Alcántara Theological Institute in Coria-Cáceres; and Mr Juan Azcárate Casanova, director of the San Juan de Ávila Theological Institute and the San Dionisio Areopagita Higher Institute of Religious Sciences, both in the diocese of Asidonia-Jerez.

The meeting focused on the process of renewing the links between the institutes and the Faculty, which began on 1 October during the meeting of the Grand Chancellor’s Council.

This meeting forms part of the institutional and academic collaboration that the Faculty maintains with its affiliated centres, with which affiliation and sponsorship agreements were signed in September 2022, with the aim of strengthening theological education and fostering cooperation between the various academic institutions.
