Our Faculty

The Faculty of Theology San Isidoro of Seville, as a theological academic institution of the Archdiocese of Seville and heir to the Center for Theological Studies of Seville, is a community dedicated to study, research, and formation, operating in accordance with the principles of the Church’s evangelizing mission. Therefore, its primary objective is to cultivate and promote, through scientific research, its own disciplines, that is, those that are directly or indirectly related to Christian Revelation or that directly serve the mission of the Church.

The Faculty of Theology San Isidoro of Seville was canonically erected by decree of His Eminence Cardinal Giuseppe Versaldi, Prefect of the Congregation for Catholic Education, on September 24, 2019, the feast of Our Lady of Mercy.
