Robert Oppenheimer: las aporías éticas del padre de la bomba atómica

Robert Openheimer fue un científico muy destacado, que intervino en el desarrollo de la mecánica cuántica y los inicios de la física nuclear. Se le nombró director científico del programa norteamericano para la creación de la bomba atómica, que gestionó con éxito. Intervino en el desarrollo posterior de la carrera armamentística, hasta que se le retiró la autorización para conocer los secretos atómicos de los Estados Unidos. Personalidad compleja, las implicaciones éticas del trabajo que realizó le suscitaron problemas de conciencia durante la última parte de su vida. El artículo analiza esta problemática.
