First Cycle. Baccalaureatus in theologia

The undergraduate examination in Theology is a complex examination, which has the character of a theological synthesis. The student will take two tests on the official syllabus: a written paper and an oral test.

a) Written work. At the end of the first four-month period of the last year, in the elaboration of a written work, the student will develop, under the guidance of a professor who will evaluate it, a theological theme in order to demonstrate the maturity in the acquisition of the fundamental concepts of Theology. The paper should not exceed thirty pages, and should conform to the style standards of the faculty.

b) Oral examination. Once the curriculum has been completed, in the oral exam, the student will choose one of the three topics of the official syllabus drawn by lot for him/her, and will present it before a Tribunal of three professors designated by the President of the Faculty, having thirty minutes to prepare it and another thirty minutes to defend it before the Tribunal and answer questions.
