Diploma in New Evangelization and leadership formation

In his address to the Italian Bishops’ Conference on May 18, 2015, Pope Francis insisted on the responsibility of the laity in the temporal order: “the laity with an authentic Christian formation, must themselves assume responsibilities at all levels. From the political to the social. From the economic to legislative measures”. In this sense, the Pope points out, as an urgent task in our time, that the whole People of God should prepare to undertake “with spirit” a new stage of evangelization.

With the desire to deepen the renewed call to the evangelization of all the people of God and for training in pastoral leadership, the San Isidoro Faculty of Theology of Seville, with the collaboration of the Vicariate of the New Evangelization of the Archdiocese of Seville, has created its own Diploma in New Evangelization and leadership training, which will promote the understanding and learning of the process of pastoral conversion as a change of culture; In which the fundamentals of the accompaniment of members of pastoral teams will be marked so that they can experience, understand and develop the necessary paradigm to lead, together with the pastors, a process of pastoral transformation. In this way, it will be possible to develop a personal leadership that allows us to be missionary disciples and to place our mission, gifts and talents at the service of the Church.

To be admitted to the course as a regular student and to be able to obtain the Diploma in New Evangelization and Leadership Formation, no academic prerequisites are required.
