As part of its commitment to theological training and the social dimension of the Church, the Parish of San Julián and Santa Marina and the San Isidoro Faculty of Theology in Seville have formalised a collaboration agreement whereby the parish joins the Faculty’s study grant programme.
The agreement, signed yesterday at the Faculty’s headquarters, gives rise to the ‘San Julián y Santa Marina’ scholarship, through which the Parish will fully fund tuition fees for the official courses offered by the Faculty, aimed at students experiencing financial difficulties.
The agreement was signed by Mr Amador Domínguez Manchado, parish priest of San Julián and Santa Marina, and by the President-Dean of the Faculty, Mr Manuel Palma Ramírez, both of whom highlighted the importance of this scholarship in facilitating access to theological training for those experiencing financial difficulties.
The Faculty of Theology Saint Isidore of Seville would like to express its special thanks to the Parish of San Julián and Santa Marina for its generosity and commitment to promoting study and caring for those with fewer resources.
