D. Pablo Antonio Díez Herrera has recently been appointed Director of the San Isidoro y San Leandro Higher Institute of Religious Sciences by D. José Ángel Saiz Meneses, Archbishop of Seville and Grand Chancellor of the Faculty of Theology Saint Isidore of Seville. Prof. Pablo Antonio holds a doctorate in Biblical Theology and is Vice President for institutional relations, own degrees and pastoral care of the Faculty.
Professor Díez Herrera is thus renewed as Director of the Higher Institute, a position he has held since the Institute was integrated into the San Isidoro Faculty of Theology of Seville. The appointment will last for the duration of the current term of the moderator, Mr. Manuel Palma, Dean of the Faculty of Theology.
Its responsibilities include representing the Institute before the moderator, before the Faculty of Theology Saint Isidore of Seville and before the civil authorities, as well as ensuring doctrinal fidelity, teaching excellence and compliance with statutory norms.
Manuel Palma, moderator of the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences, has appointed Professor Miguel Ángel Garzón Moreno, CO, PhD in Biblical Theology and Vice-President for Academic Ordination and students of the Faculty, as Assistant Director of the Institute.
Among the tasks assigned to Professor Garzón as Assistant Director is to assist the Director in the performance of his duties and to advise him on academic and management issues of the Institute.
